Weekend in Sydney

Couple of weeks back, I was fortunate enough to travel to Sydney to see the Vivid Sydney light show. And here are my thoughts.

When I landed in Sydney, there was a bit of a drizzle, and to top it all, the airport bus took nearly an hour to get the whole plane off to the airport. Luckily for me, I only have carry on and I go straight to costumes. In there, there was a long queue for declaring prohibited items. So, if you want to exit the airport quickly, do not bring any prohibited item into Australia.

Once out of everything, time to get an Uber to get to the hotel. The ride was quick and it was a smooth ride, arrived to the hotel in no time. After checking in and drop off my bag and headed off to shopping. First stop, Queens Victoria Basement, awesome place and a lot of shops. Then I have to embrace my asianness, so I headed to Muji and Uniqlo. After losing myself in all the shops, walked down towards the harbour, and visited the Museum of Contemporary Art. It’s a very good lots to see and great balcony cafe to enjoy the view of the bridge and the sydney opera house. Then walked to Chinatown to have some Si chuan style dinner.

The night came and the show started. It was a bit chill but everything was all good. The show was great and took some awesome pics.

Next day, more walking around malls and second hand clothes shopping. Shits are expensive af. Anyway, in conclusion, Aus is awesome to visit  but expensive af, had a lot of fun.
